An "Epic" Storm

The storm we had over Christmas gives new meaning to "white Christmas." The storm started at noon on Christmas Eve and we were under a Winter Storm Watch until Saturday afternoon. We got incredible amounts of snow. We were completely snowed in until Satrurday at 4:00. It was so nice to be cozy inside my home next to the fire. The drift across our street keeping us from leaving was nearly 5 ft high. Today it is 7 ft with help from the large pile of snow the tractor moved. There was so much snow, snow plows couldn't get the job done. I think the city employed every tractor in town to go out and shovel snow like dirt to get it off the streets. The picture below is Wade snow blowing our deck if we didn't have a puppy to let outside we would have left it, but she has to go outside to do her business.
